Great sturdy product. Works great as secondary lint filter so the outside vent screen does not clog. Tight fit on clean out door so heat,fumes, or lint do not escape.

The construction is very good. It is easy to empty and clean although it is sometimes hard to see the amount of lint in the box through the plastic window. One negative point is that the sheet metal is very sharp on the edges so you must use caution when opening and closing the box for cleaning. I took a few moments to remove the sharp edges. Other than that, it is a very good product.

I bought this lint trap to reduce the lint collecting in my vertical dryer duct that goes out through my roof. It does seem to work well but it's pretty crudely made and it does leak some lint. It does seem to "seal itself" with lint though around where the door closes. The door has spring loaded brackets to hold it closed which are somewhat interesting to deal with. It's a rough galvanized sheetmetal enclosure which is unpainted and has many sharp edges. I'm lucky that I work for a manufacturing company and could have the one I purchased powdercoated before I installed it. It also has no mounting hardware or brackets with it. You have to come up with a way to mount it yourself which I was able to do by building a wall mount bracket. I'm giving it two stars because of the lack of any extra items to mount it with. It seems like it's packaged more like an item a contractor would receive to install in new construction.
