This hood is more than adequate for even the most professional chef cooking in a home kitchen. It has two powerful fans. The quiet mode is effective for light jobs and almost silent. The look is great- very high end. It was very tough to install so if you have a contractor that can do it then go that way. Also, the elliptical curve across the front takes some getting used to. I hit my head on it a few times before learning the behaviour necessary to avoid doing that.

We love the way this hood looks. Everyone comments on it. I wish the fan were a bit quieter, but I don't know that it's any louder than others. The stainless steel is not always easy to clean. Still looking for a cleaner that works great. But the styling is awesome.

after getting the zephyr zta-36 the instructions tells you that you need a charcoal kit for the range hood if you use it to vent indoor ..nowhere was this mentioned in website add another $50.
