So Far It Is Great

This machine is the third portable ice maker in our home. The first two were "lemons." After reading many reviews, we decided to try this model. One thing that sold us on it was its self-cleaning feature. This model was more expensive than the first two, but so far we love it! It functions just the way it is supposed to, and it is much more quiet.

THIS ITEN CAME DEFECTIVE SINCE THE BEGINING THIS SELLER DONT WANT TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK THWY WANT TO PURCHASE A WARRANTY FOR SOMETHING THAT DONT WORK SINSE THE BEGINING THAS NO FEAR AND IS TERRIBLE THATS THIS COMPANIES USE AMAMZON TO SALE ITENS DEFECTIVES

Few problems but

At first I was cleaning this unit weekly, using filtered water. However, I switched to tap water, and the ice has been great. Owned this for 4 months and it has been great. Will keep up with a few people drinking liquor, keeping ice in the glasses all day. I even filled a cooler before a party in a few hours. Highly recommend.

** Update** Today the Ice maker stopped working (7 months). I contacted the company SUNPENTOWN and I will update my results.
