Had a magic chef before and it was a little bigger. This one is just as good and takes up less room on the counter. Makes ice fast but the basket has to be emptied more often. However, the price was right amd it works just fine.

I purchased the Polar Cube Elite from Discount Tommy, received it really fast, rinsed and started making ice. The ice maker stopped working after only 2 days, I contacted Discount Tommy, service person was very nice. Got a prepaid return shipping tag via email, boxed it, returned via Fedex. A week later it returned, added water, making ice, so far so good. This machine makes makes plenty of ice.

Excellent product. We purchased this product over three months ago. Ice is made almost as fast as we can use it. Makes it fast enough to bag some up for large gatherings if you wish. I would recommend this ice maker.
