Item takes a bit to start making ice, but happy I got it. Had purchased another ice maker, different brand, that didn't work as well as this one. Returned that one, kept this one.

it is compact in size and weighs much less compared to other ice makers in this category. It produces lots of ice rather quickly. Reflecting its overall size, the ice bucket container is also rather small so it doesn't hold the usual amount of ice. But this has not been a problem for us since it does produce ice very quickly.
Bottom Line: So far, so good after several months of extensive use.
